When you learn how to serve, it can can be difficult, but when you break it down into stages. we can focus in on key areas that may or may not be working.

In Stage 8 of our 10 part series on the serve I talk about

Stage 8 – Contact

S.E.T.S. (Simple-Efficient-Tennis-Solution)
Hit “Up and Out” with Full Extension at Contact

In This Stage


1. Left arm collapse in toward chest
2. Back foot starts to move or “kick” backwards
3. Hitting arm should be fully extended
4. Hips are facing net
5. Shoulder-Over-Shoulder and Hip-Over-Hip
