In today’s quick tip, I tell you why taking the racquet back is the wrong way to think when trying to hit effective groundstrokes.
Think about it this way, If you take the racquet back, how how is it going to move forward? probably the same way you got it back there.
Solution: TURN the racquet back.
This may sound simple, but in todays video, I show you the difference between taking the racquet back and turning the racquet back.
When you TAKE the racquet back you will most likely experience:
2. More miss hits
3. Slower racquet head speed
4. Less Consistency
5. Less Accuracy
When you TURN the racquet back you will:
1. Be more prepared for deeper and faster hit balls
2. Faster racquet head speed
3. Increased consistency (due to better contact)
4. Increased accuracy (due to more efficient swing patterns)
5. More fluis feeling strokes
You strokes should feel more fluid, because you have not broken the link in the “Kinetic Chain” (more on that later).
I hope you like this video and please feel free to comment at the bottom of the post and give me your thoughts
